FAQs
We have prepared these FAQs for you as much of the feedback we receive via email falls into one of these answers. This should help you to find our more about our ministry and answer some of those questions you may have had.
Q. Why have we created this website?
A. Our heartbeat is to see people from all walks of life come in to a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ and then go on to grow in that relationship. I have created this website to make resources available for others to explore the Christian faith more deeply and hopefully come to know Jesus Christ personally.
Q. I am wanting to know more about Jesus Christ or the Christian faith, is there anyone who can help?
A. There are a number of great resources available online for free. Campus Crusade for Christ has an excellent online Bible study at http://www.basicsteps.org/english/studyindex.htm. You can work your way through this at your own pace. There are also a number of free Bible courses online at ChristianCourses.com
Q. Can we contact you at PASSION Australia?
A. If you would like to email me at PASSION, please visit my contacts page for a feedback form.
Q. Can you help me find a church?
A. There are links to all the major Australian denominations on the links page. If you visit the websites of the different denominations you will be able to find a local church near you. In some cases you will be able to enter your postcode and your local church will be displayed.
Q. Can we contact someone in Australia on your behalf?
A. We are unable to contact someone in Australia for you. This is due to privacy laws in Australia.
Q. Can you send me some tracts, audio tapes or money to me outside Australia?
A. Because of the calling God has place on our hearts to focus on Australia and our small budget we are unable to send things overseas. However, you are welcome to print our resources and copy them for your own use.
Q. Are you able to come and minister in our country outside Australia?
A. God has placed a strong burden for the people of Australia on our hearts and we are doing our best fulfil the work God has called us to here in Australia. Because of this we are unable to minister outside Australia.
Q. Can I use a sermon or testimony that I found on your website on my website?
A. We would prefer you link to the article/testimony on our website.
Q. Who wrote the articles on the passionaustralia.org website?
A. All the articles unless otherwise stated where written by Dave Quinn who is the founder of PASSION Australia.
Q. Do we allow people to submit articles for posting on our website?A. We have made a prayerful decision that all articles/sermons that appear in our publications and on our website are written by members of our team at PASSION Australia.
Q. Do we allow advertising/promotions on our website?
A. We have made a decision not to allow advertising on our website. This includes both paid and non-paid advertising and/or book promotions from other companies or ministries.
Q. Can I submit a link to be included on your links page?
A. All the links on our website are the ones use regularly and we have included them because they have been a blessing to us over a long period of time.
Q. How is our ministry funded?
A. Our ministry is funded by the team involved with PASSION. However some people have asked to support us financially. If you would like to do this you can click on the button below.
Q. Do we employ people in our organisation?
A. We are a not for profit ministry and everyone involved are volunteers.
Q. I live outside Australia, can I come and work with your ministry?
A. If you would like to visit Australia and work in ministry we suggest you contact one of the major Church denominations. These are available on our links page
Q. Where have your free Palm downloads gone?
A. We have removed them as they were written for older technology as they do not work on the new iPhones and Windows based Pocket PCs.
