About PASSION

PASSION Australia (passionaustralia.org) is a Christian ministry located in Western Australia. Our ministry was founded by Dave Quinn at God's call in November 1998. Since this time we reached out to more than one million people at local outreaches, by radio and TV, with churches and through the internet.

As a ministry, our heartbeat is to see people from all walks of life come in to a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ. We honestly believe and have personally experienced the difference knowing Christ makes in our everyday lives! Because of this experience, we want to make resources available for others to explore the Christian faith more deeply and hopefully come to know Jesus Christ personally.

While this has been our main focus, we realise that we can not reach everyone in Australia. Because of this, a large part of our ministry work is to help equip Christians to share their faith more effectively with those around them. We do this through resources on our website and by visiting churches.

The information below will help you to find out more about my mission, beliefs and ministry philosophy. Essentially this ministry can be described in three words - reaching, equipping and encouraging.

Our Mission

To reach the people of Australia with the love and saving message of Jesus Christ, to mobilise and equip Christians to share their faith and to encourage people of their journey with God.

Our Beliefs

The sole basis of our belief is the Bible, which we believe is uniquely God-inspired, without error, and the final authority on all matters of faith. As the Bible teaches, there is one God, eternally existing in three persons — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — each possessing all the attributes of Deity.

God created humans to have fellowship with Him, but they defied God by sinfully going their own way. As a result, we need God's saving grace to end our alienation from Him. Salvation comes only through God's saving grace — not human effort — and must be received personally by repentance and faith.

Jesus Christ, second Person of the Trinity, lived a sinless life on earth and voluntarily paid for our sin by dying on the cross as our substitute. This accomplishes salvation for all who receive grace by trusting in Him alone. He rose from the dead and is the only mediator between us and God. He will return to earth to consummate history.

The Holy Spirit draws sinners to Christ and equips believers for personal growth and service to the church. The church's role is to glorify God and serve those in need. At the end, everyone will experience bodily resurrection and the judgment. Those forgiven through Christ will enjoy eternal fellowship with God.
