PASSIONAustralia.org is a non denominational Christian ministry that is located in the Central Wheat-belt of Western Australia. PASSION was set up in 1998 at God's call. Since this time we have been reaching out to and encouraging the people of Australia (and the world) through this website and by local outreaches in Western Australia.
Our Mission
Our mission at PASSION Australia is is to encourage people on their journey of faith and life in Christ. We aim to do three main things as we go about our work.
- Reach - to help people to come to know Jesus Christ in
a personal way and find peace with God and what
the Bible says about salvation; and
- Encourage - to encourage people on their personal journey of faith and life through sermons, Bible reading plans, audio sermons, communion messagess, blog posts and free booklets; and
- Equip - to help and equip Christians to be more effective in sharing their faith and discipling others.
This is done by providing free online resources for people to explore the Christian faith and to encourage Christians on their journey of faith, life and service of God. These resources are primarily distributed through this website.
One of the questions we are often asked is why do we spell the word PASSION in capitals. This is because it stands for Preaching And Saving Souls In Our Nation.
Our Beliefs
WE BELIEVE IN...
The Bible - The Bible is the inspired,
infallible, and inerrant Word of God. It is God's
revelation, in which He reveals Himself and His purposes
to us. It is the authority on all matters of faith and
practice.
God - There is one living and true God,
eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son and Holy
Spirit. He is the personal, sovereign, Creator of all
things.
Mankind - Mankind was created in the
image of God and is the treasure of God’s creation.
However, through the sin of Adam, mankind inherited a sin
nature. Each person is a sinner by nature and by choice,
deserving God’s judgment.
Jesus Christ - Jesus Christ is the
eternal Son of God. In His incarnation, He was born of a
virgin. He is fully God and fully man. He lived a perfect
life, died on a cross, rose bodily from the dead, and
ascended to heaven, where He sits at the right hand of the
Father.
Salvation - Salvation has been provided
for mankind through the substitutionary sacrifice of Jesus
Christ on the cross. All who place their faith in Jesus
Christ are justified and redeemed on the grounds of His
shed blood.
The Holy Spirit - The Holy Spirit is a
divine person, equal with God the Father and God the Son.
He convicts of sin, righteousness, and judgment. He gives
gifts, strengthens, leads, and guides each believer.
The Church - The church is made up of
those who have been saved through faith in Jesus Christ.
The local church is to gather together for worship, to
serve one another, to learn from the Bible, to have
fellowship, and go out into the world to fulfil its role
in the Great Commission.
The Future - Each believer is to
await the personal, visible and imminent return of the
Lord Jesus Christ. The future will hold the resurrection
of both the saved and unsaved; the saved to eternal life
and the unsaved to eternal punishment.
