It is bigger on the inside

July 8th, 2016

One of the things I like to do for downtime is watch sci-fi tv shows. One of my favourites is Doctor Who. I don’t believe in aliens or time travel, but I like watching something that is so different to my life.

One of the things I like about Doctor Who is his mode of travel – the Tardis. He uses it to travel through space and time. Anyone who has watched the show knows it is much bigger on the inside than the Police box exterior pictured above.

As I was thinking about this bigger on the inside phenomena I was reminded about God’s Kingdom. From the outside I thought it was small and inconsequential. I thought Christians were people who had faith, went to church and did some good deeds.

Once I came to Christ I learned that there is so much more to being a Christian. It is about having a faith and hope in Christ, receiving forgiveness of sin, having a sense of peace and purpose, about being accepted by God as His child, knowing His provision and that we will spend eternity with Him.

I could go on forever about the benefits of knowing Christ and being part of God’s Kingdom. It has turned my world upside down for the better. My life before Christ and after Christ is like chalk and cheese as they say. It is much much much better!

Like Doctor Who’s Tardis, being part of God’s Kingdom is much more than I thought. It is much bigger on the inside than I could have ever imagined. I am so glad I received Christ back in 1989.

If you would like to come to know Christ and be a part of His Kingdom, I would encourage you to visit my Peace with God page and make your connection with Christ today.

God Bless,
