Take time to encourage someone

September 15th, 2015

Several weeks ago I wrote two posts titled “Finding encouragement for yourself” and also “Encouraging your spouse“. Today I want to talk about taking the time to encourage someone else.

This post is sparked by a Christian friend at work. We were talking about the changes I had made to my website and he said he would check it out when he got home.

Later in the evening I received at text message from him saying that he has just spent half an hour looking around my website reading and listening to the resources. He went on to say it was very inspirational. The next day at work we talked about it more and he said more things.

It was such a simple thing to do, but to me it was really really encouraging. I was uplifted and I saved the text in my encouragement folder for the days when I am feeling a bit flat or when I feel like I am not achieving much.

As a result of this I am wondering if there is someone you can encourage? Who do you know that you can pass on some positive thoughts to that will give them a lift in their efforts?

If may be just a small effort on your part, but it may be a big deal to the person receiving it.

God Bless,
