Several weeks ago I saw a book in the Koorong catalogue that just grabbed my attention. I knew it was one I just had to order. It was called the Jesus Manifesto and is written by Leonard Sweet and Frank Viola.

So far I have read the first 38 pages and I am really enjoying it. For me it is one of those books that I need to read slowly, take it all in and reflect on. I can’t just race through it.

It is giving me a fresh look at Jesus as the all sufficient One who holds the whole universe together. My vision of Jesus is getting refreshed and expanded. I am being reminded of just how awesome He is.
